A Chicago native, Patrick was introduced to music by his father, Patrick Sr. From his father he learned to appreciate different genres of music such as: R&B, Rock & Roll, Gospel, Jazz and Latin music. As a teen he studied and performed in high school marching, symphonic and jazz bands. There, he learned to read and write music. At the age of 21 Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the nation’s premier performing arts and media school Columbia College Chicago.
Patrick has had the honor of performing and sharing the stage with greats such as: Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, Styx, Bobby Rush, Fernando Jones, Anti-Crew and Many More. He teaches with the Blues Kids Of America program which is an internationally recognized multicultural, interdisciplinary artist-in-residence music program. This experience is designed to improve literacy through music with a focus on the Blues- the root of American Music.
